The Honduran Olympic Team wants to have an outstanding participation in the next Olympic Games in Tokyo 2021, that is why its preparation remains full.

Currently those directed by Miguel Falero are doing a special microcycle from June 14 to 18 with selected seniors in the city of Siguatepeque.
Prior to their trip to Tokyo, the agenda of the Honduras Under-23s will have three weeks of many demands and to arrive in the best conditions.
THEY LEAVE SIGUATEPEQUE AND GO TO SPS
After three days of preparation in Siguatepeque, those selected leave the Concentration Hotel and will move to San Pedro Sula this Thursday, where they will work for three consecutive days.
For this Thursday, June 17, the three U-23 players (Edwin Rodríguez, Kervin Arriaga and Alex Güity) who had been given rest for their participation in the Final Four are expected to join.
Those selected have a new appointment of five days of preparation from June 21 to 28, where the players will be in Siguatepeque.
FINAL LIST AND PENULTIMATE DAY
After two days of rest, coach Miguel Falero would be announcing the list of players who will be taking part in the U-23 at the Tokyo Olympics.
The young people will have their appointment from June 28 to July 2, where they could already count on the three reinforcements that will be taken to the competition.
LAST CONCENTRATION AND TRIP
With their suitcases ready for Tokyo, the U-23 selected will meet once again on July 5-7, where they will fine-tune the last details for Honduras’ debut at the Olympic Games.
The trip from Honduras to Tokyo is scheduled for July 7 and thus arrive with enough time and avoid any unforeseen events due to the pandemic.
TWO FRIENDLY PRIOR TO THE DEBUT AT THE OLYMPICS
Once installed in Japan, the “H” would have two prep sets: one on July 12 and the second on July 17.
The first will be against Japan at 7:30 pm in Japan, 4:30 in the morning in Honduras, so we will have to get up early to see this commitment. The second is yet to be defined.
START OF HONDURAS IN TOKYO
The group stage of the Tokyo Olympic Games will be played from July 22 to 28 and Honduras is in group B along with New Zealand, South Korea and Romania.
The first match of the Bicolor will be against Romania on July 22 at 5:00 am from Honduras. The second appointment will be on July 25 against New Zealand and closes the group stage on July 28 against South Korea.
