It is called the Strawberry Moon because it rises in the sky during strawberry harvest time, and symbolically, it suggests that our wishes and dreams are like the fruits themselves, ripe and ready to be harvested.

It’s also a Super moon, which means it will appear larger than usual, which might make us feel as though it’s even more powerful than we might imagine.

While all zodiac signs feel a Full Moon, three zodiac signs will see improvements dramatically in an area of their lives where bad luck has been a problem for years.

This Moon in is Capricorn, which will concentrate its powers on responsibility, professionalism, and the thrill of working hard for the purpose of getting exactly what we need.

Sun Sign Capricorn is oftentimes attached to the idea of work, and yet, Capricorns dedicate themselves equally to the idea of play, so what we’re really looking at here is working hard so that we can play just as hard – if we so choose.

Many housewives are confused about the correct way to defrost meat, poultry and fish to protect them from spoilage, and to protect the health of their family.

Many of them use the traditional method, which is to soak meat in water, but this wrong habit may harm health, according to what Dr. Sherine Ali Zaki, a veterinarian in the Giza Directorate and head of the Food Safety Committee at the Veterinarians Syndicate, confirmed through the “Jet in the Lokma” group concerned with health awareness via Facebook. ‘, she said:

– It is forbidden to soak meat, poultry or fish in water, firstly because it contaminates meat, as a result of the watery medium being very suitable for bacterial reproduction, especially after being contaminated with blood and separating fluids. Secondly, part of the nutritional value of meat is lost.

So what is the solution:

The meat to be disassembled must be taken out a day before at night, and placed on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator in preparation for cooking the next day.

It is not recommended to put meat on the kitchen counter overnight so as not to be exposed to bacterial reproduction.

The microwave can be used and set to defrost, but it is not preferable to use it to defrost frozen liver and minced meat, as it settles parts of it, causing an unacceptable taste and color.

– The only case in which it is allowed to soak the meat to loosen it, is to put it in several heavy sealed bags before soaking it, so that the water never comes into contact with it.

– Do not use meat for cooking immediately after it comes out of the freezer, because often the heat does not reach the heart of meat or poultry and these parts remain undercooked completely and safe to kill any bacterial content.
