The Presidency of Religious Affairs announced that summer Quran courses will start on July 5th. In line with the coronavirus measures, the trainings will be held online and face-to-face this year.
‘The Application Principles of the Summer Qur’an Courses for the Year 2021’ were determined by the General Directorate of Education Services of the Presidency of Religious Affairs. Accordingly, this year, the measures to be taken for the summer Quran courses and the working principles for the preparations were sent to the Mufti of 81.
QURAN COURSES WILL END ON AUGUST 20
The ‘Summer Qur’an Courses’ opened by the Presidency of Religious Affairs every year in mosques and Qur’an courses with the holidays of schools will be held this year as online or face-to-face education according to age groups due to the measures taken against the Kovid-19 outbreak. While the summer Qur’an courses in 2021 are planned to be held between 05 July-20 August 2021 as a single semester, applications can be made between 21 June-11 July 2021 via mosque, Qur’an courses or ‘www.diyanet.gov.tr’. .
QURAN COURSES WILL BE GIVEN TO CHILDREN FACE-TO-FACE AND ONLINE EDUCATION TO YOUTH
Children and young people between the ages of 4-22 can attend Quran courses. Accordingly, parents of students aged 4-9 can apply to the nearest Qur’an course in their region, face-to-face or via the website, while only face-to-face education will be given to this group. Parents of students aged 10-15 can apply face-to-face or through the website, while their education will be face-to-face or online, depending on their preferences. Again, the applications of students between the ages of 16-22 will be taken through the website, and their education will only be done online. In addition, the parents of disabled citizens aged 7 and over will be able to apply to the Qur’an courses.
