ADBA recovers today one of the postponed matches of Women’s League 2 with the intention of removing the bad taste in their mouths of their scandalous defeat (92-35) on Saturday at the Baxi Ferrol court. Tonight’s rival (7pm) at El Quirinal is Ibaizabal, which arrives with a balance of four wins and two losses, so the goal is to compete to the extent of the team’s possibilities, according to the coach, Sergio Cubero .

“It is not at the level of Ferrol, but Ibaizabal is a strong team in the category,” says Cubero, who struggles with the limitations of a short squad, aggravated by the injury of North American Devon Brookshire: “They have not trained for a long time and we have to assess whether it is preferable for him to rest for the next matches ”.

Because after Ibaizabal, the ADBA will face matches against rivals from “their” league, such as Rosalía, Cortegada and Arxil, key to permanence: “We have to use these games to improve in all aspects”.

The ADBA, run over by an imposing Baxi Ferrol

The ADBA was run over yesterday by a rival, Baxi Ferrol, who is a clear favorite to achieve promotion to the highest category of women’s basketball. The Galicians were superior from start to finish and fattened the score in the last quarter, when the Avilesino team noticed one of their biggest shortcomings, the lack of a bench, which affects their physique.

The ADBA receives the Ardoi without Marcy de Sousa, concentrated with Portugal

The ADBA successfully passed the tests prior to the meeting that will face Ardoi Navarro today, at 7:00 p.m., who also tested negative in his team and will be able to travel to Avilés. The local team will not be able to count on an important player, such as the Portuguese Marcy de Sousa, concentrated with her team.
