According to what the media reported here, the defense minister’s position was expressed when he was received in Tehran, the Iranian capital, by the president of this Persian nation, Ibrahim Raisi.

The enemies try to seize any opportunity to damage our solid and fraternal ties, but they will never succeed, said the high command, who began an official visit to Iran last Monday.

He asserted that Syria was able, with the support of true brothers and friends, to win the war against terrorism, and considered that the axis of resistance will play an important role in the reconfiguration of the new world.

In turn, the Iranian president reiterated his support for the Syrian people in the reconstruction phase, and assured that bilateral relations are based on the spirit of firmness and resistance of the peoples of the two countries.

The Islamic Republic of Iran is a true friend of the Syrian people, and just as it supported it in the anti-terror phase, it will do so during the reconstruction phase, Raisi said.

The Syrian minister held a meeting with the chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Muhammad Bagheri, in which the two ratified the bilateral strategic alliance.
