Striking substitution works out well for Juve: Ronaldo's replacement becomes match winner

Juventus has booked an equally difficult and important victory over AC Milan. De Oude Dame did not score much, but substitute Paulo Dybala delivered fifteen minutes for time for Matthijs de Ligt's team: 1-0. Surprisingly, Dybala joined Cristiano Ronaldo in the team.

The Turin team thought it was going to be a simple evening against the struggling Milan, which can still be found in the middle bracket of the Serie A. Nothing could be further from the truth, because the Rossoneri gave the reigning champion excellent resistance. In the first half, the visit via Krzysztof Piatek and Theo Hernandez even had the best chances, but Juve goalie Wojciech Sczeszny could stand out.

The normally so dangerous attack of Juventus was nowhere to be seen in the first company and even after a break they could hardly break pots. Nevertheless, the intervention of trainer Maurizio Sarri was a daring one: he chose to bring star player Cristiano Ronaldo to the side in favor of Paulo Dybala. In the end it turned out to be a golden change. The Argentinian shot fifteen minutes before time, and helped Juve to get past the dead end.

Milan struck the Turin gate in the final phase and fought for a deserved result, but the Old Lady kept the points inboard. With that Juventus, where Matthijs de Ligt played ninety minutes, is again the leader in the Italian Serie A. Internazionale was allowed to enjoy it for a day, but is now second again.
