Stray Fawn Studio, the indie game studio behind The Wandering Village, has just announced that it will start publishing independent games. Along with this announcement, they also unveiled the first game in their publishing line: Earth of Oryna city-builder/strategy game in a medieval setting, which will launch on Steam Early Access in 2024.
Since its inception in 2016, Stray Fawn Studio has developed and self-published three games in the simulation and strategy genres. ‘The Wandering Village‘, the newest addition to the studio’s portfolio, has sold over 200,000 copies since its release on Steam Early Access in September 2022.
In the case of Earth of Oryn, Stray Fawn stepped in to help Edouard Libion, a Belgian solo developer, when he ran into trouble during the Kickstarter campaign for his game. Together they got the campaign back on track and eventually surpassed the funding goal initial. After the campaign, they decided to continue working together.
