Stolen pool in Gaia is recovered by GNR in Santa Maria da Feira

According to a statement sent to the media today, the GNR states that “the Territorial Command of Porto, through the Criminal Investigation Nucleus (NIC) of Vila Nova de Gaia, yesterday [segunda-feira]on the 25th of July, recovered a swimming pool that had been stolen inside a plot of land, in the municipality of Santa Maria da Feira”.

According to the GNR, the investigation into the “theft of a swimming pool that was being set up inside a private plot” in Vila Nova de Gaia lasted “one and a half months”.

“During the action, a search was carried out on land where a house is being built, in the municipality of Santa Maria da Feira, where it was possible to seize and recover the stolen swimming pool”, according to the GNR.

Following the action, “a man and a woman were identified, owners of the land, aged 42 and 36, respectively”, and the “recovered pool was handed over to its rightful owner”.

“The facts were communicated to the Vila Nova de Gaia Judicial Court”, also refers to the GNR.
