The summer night gala has been ringing in the summer festival season since 2006 and, thanks to the TV images, is also a media advertisement for Grafenegg. In 2022, two important voices have announced themselves: the German soprano Marlis Petersen is known for her musical creative power between classical coloratura singing and the interpretation of jazz and new music, the Uruguayan-Spanish bass-baritone Erwin Schrott is considered the ideal performer of Mozart with his rich timbre Don Giovanni, but also convinces as Leporello or Figaro. The two world stars are joined by Selina Ott, a trumpet virtuoso of the younger generation who is about to conquer the big concert halls. As always, the concert event will be accompanied by the Tonkunstler Orchestra under its chief conductor Yutaka Sado.
