Nicolas Huber took the tenth Red Cross medal at the Freestyle World Championships in Bakuriani, Georgia, putting the bronze around his neck in the Big Air.
The 28-year-old climbed onto the podium thanks to a very high quality third run (89.75 points). The title ended up in the hands of Taiga Hasegawa, while in the women’s field in those of Anna Gasser. Few satisfactions instead in the ski halfpipe: Robin Briguet finished in tenth place. Absent the Swiss Ragettli and Gremaud (retired at the very end), in the Big Air it was finally Tess Ledeux and Troy Podmilsak who were crowned world champions.
