The reliable Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano, revealed to the British “Sky Sports” network, that one of the Turkish League clubs made an official offer to Aston Villa, in order to sign our Egyptian star, Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, the Aston Villa winger.
Trezeguet spent the second half of the just ended 2021/2022 season, loaned to Istanbul club Basaksehir and starred with the team.
Many Turkish media, over the past period, reported that Besiktas, along with Fenerbahce, as well as Galatasaray, want to include our Egyptian star.

However, Romano explained that it was the Trabzonspor club that made an official offer to Aston Villa officials in order to obtain the signature of the 27-year-old.
Romano wrote through his official account on the social networking platform “Twitter”: “Trabzonspor FC made an official offer to Aston Villa for the purchase of Mahmoud Trezeguet.”
He added, “Now that negotiations are scheduled to start, there are also other clubs interested in contracting him, from Turkey and from different leagues as well.”
Trezeguet, during his loan period with Basaksehir, participated in 13 matches in the Turkish League, scored 6 goals and provided four assists.
