Sikorsky announced the delivery of two CH-53K helicopters to the United States Marine Corps (USMC) in the last quarter of 2022. These CH-53K heavy-lift helicopters join the seven already in operation at USMC Air Station. Marine Corps (MCAS) New River in Jacksonville, North Carolina.

Production increase in 2023
Sikorsky is on track to deliver more King Stallion multi-mission helicopters to the USMC in 2023.
The USMC declared full production of the CH-53K program in December 2022; a decision that is expected to increase production to more than 20 helicopters annually for years to come. Expanded production includes 12 aircraft in various stages of production for the government of Israel.
“Sikorsky is procuring long-life items and critical materials to support ramping up CH-53K production to full capacity at its digital factory,” the company highlights.
