Shokz OpenRun Mini: More compact design for optimal fit during sports

More and more people around the world rely on bone conduction headphones when training, which enable a clear perception of their surroundings and thus combine the best music enjoyment with optimum safety – especially in traffic. So that even more athletes can benefit from the innovative technology, Shokz has now added a mini version to the best-selling OpenRun model, the temples of which are 2.1 centimeters shorter. Colleague Fabian had already taken a closer look at the slightly larger OpenRun Pro model in a test report, which you can read here.

Even the standard version of the OpenRun convinces with an ergonomic design that guarantees a secure fit during every training session. After extensive feedback from all over the world, Shokz now has another model on offer with the OpenRun Mini, which caters even better to the needs of people with a smaller head circumference. The shorter temple provides a new option with the same technical features that fits tighter at the back of the head, further increasing comfort during training.

Perfect training thanks to bone conduction

The bone conduction technology has remained the same, with which you can enjoy your favorite music, podcasts and audio books in excellent quality without disturbing your training with oppressive headphones, sweaty ears or in-ears falling out. The sound is not conducted via the auditory canals, but via the cheekbones to the inner ear – the auricles remain free. This also results in an unclouded perception of the surroundings, which greatly increases safety, especially when running or cycling in traffic. At the same time, you can talk undisturbed without having to do without your favorite music. It is not for nothing that the German Athletics Association (DLV) expressly recommends the headphones from Shokz for training.

Otherwise, the OpenRun Mini is in no way inferior to its bigger brother. The PremiumPitch 2.0+ technology guarantees rich bass and excellent stereo sound – even during phone calls, thanks to the integrated microphone with noise cancellation. Its battery life of up to 8 hours, including the quick charge function, ensures that the Bluetooth 5.1 headphones don’t run out of breath even during long training sessions and that they are fit again in just 10 minutes for a further 1.5 hours of playback time. With its IP67 certification, the OpenRun Mini is tough and defies rain, sweat and dust. The sports headphones are particularly light at 26 grams and sit securely on the head thanks to their well thought-out design.

Shokz headphones and headsets are available from selected specialist retailers, online retailers and the Shokz web shop and come with a two-year guarantee and a 30-day refund and exchange right.
