The Senegalese team reached the final stage of the African qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, after defeating its Namibian counterpart 3-1 today, Tuesday, in Johannesburg, in the fourth round of Group H.

Senegal won its fourth consecutive victory to raise its lead to 12 points, and Namibia’s balance stopped at four points in second place.

No team in the group will be able to equalize the Senegalese team’s number of points, with three matches remaining for Congo and Togo in this stage of the qualifiers, compared to two matches for Senegal and Namibia.

Famara Diedhiou took the lead in the Senegalese team by scoring the three goals (hat-trick) in the 22nd, 51st and 84th minutes, and Peter Chaluleli scored the only goal for Namibia in the 27th minute.
