Seiler & Speer release Symphonic CD

In February, Seiler & Speer delivered three sensational symphonic concerts under the direction of Christian Kolonovits. The concert hit will also be released on CD on June 3rd.

“After working on the program and the shows, it was very clear to us: We definitely want to release it on audio carriers,” say Seiler and Speer. “Three full-length concerts in the Wiener Konzerthaus, our songs interpreted in a classical way, the fans, the atmosphere, we really wanted to capture all of that. We very much hope that the fans will be happy about it.”

With Red Bull Symphonic, the two musicians, together with Christian Kolonovits, took up the challenge of fusing their songs with classical music for the first time. The conductor rearranged the biggest hits by Seiler and Speer. In February of this year, they presented the result of this extraordinary union live together with their band, the Max Steiner Orchestra and guests in the Vienna Konzerthaus.

The album was recorded during the three concert evenings in the Wiener Konzerthaus. From Bach to Paganini to Georg Danzer, the musical spectrum of Red Bull Symphonic stretches across several musical epochs. Also included are the crossover pieces “Herr Inspektor” with the Vienna Chamber Choir and “Principessa” with violin virtuoso Lidia Baich. Of course, the guest appearance of soprano Juliette Khalil with the interlude of “Ruaf Mi Ned Au” in the song “Ala bin” should not be missing. The classic version of the hit “Ham Kummst” crowns the live album.

From June 3rd, 2022, the complete concert will be available on audio media and all well-known streaming platforms.
