After the ÖVP federal party conference in Graz, it was the second public appearance by Sebastian Kurz after his departure as Chancellor. At the Salzburg Summit, the former ÖVP party chairman appeared as an entrepreneur and investor and was interviewed by Magenta boss Andreas Bierwirth. It was all about reinventing the “incredibly strong political brand” Sebastian Kurz, as Bierwirth put it in his question. “Fortunately, I don’t see myself as a brand, but as myself,” Kurz replied. But he has arrived in his new role, “as far as you can be in half a year”. The activity as an entrepreneur is completely different, and the environment has also changed, he spends most of his time outside of Europe.
