According to the Neurology portal, scientists from South Korea have released data from a study that found a link between vitamin D intake and a decrease in benign paroxysmal positional vertigo.
It is specified that 957 patients suffering from dizziness and receiving physiotherapy took part in the study.
“The first group of subjects took calcium and vitamin D twice a day, the second – a placebo. As a result of observations in the first group, the incidence of dizziness decreased by 24%,” the study data show.
