In different forms, from sport to culture, 330 students from La Providence participated in this moment prepared by a teacher, before Paris 2024.
Children, parents, teachers cross the finish line of the last 2024 meter event in a good mood
From CP to 9th grade, 330 students from primary schools and Providence college in Fécamp met at Le Dantec stadium as part of Olympic and Paralympic Day 2022, Tuesday June 21, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. . Prepared with meticulousness by Maud Berger, a school teacher with the help of her colleagues, this highlight allowed the students to take part in sports workshops (long jump, shot put for example), linguistics (in responding to an MCQ on the Olympic Games written in English), artistic (three tables were made with plastic caps) and Paralympic (to change the way people look at disability).
“I move for peace”
Sponsor of the event, Gérald Delalandre, former player of the visually impaired French football team, and Élodie Guénard, project manager for the Departmental Olympic Committee of the Seine, supported all the participants in their final efforts: running 2024 meters around the stadium, efforts that closed this beautiful day under the sign “I move for peace”.
