A few months before the release of the new AMD processors, the first rumors about any models and their performance are already circulating. As a result, AMD should start the launch with four models.
Intel’s main competitor AMD announced its latest generation of processors in May. According to the manufacturer, the Ryzen 7000 chips (aka Raphael) should appear in autumn and preparations for the launch are already in full swing. For this reason, the first models were listed in the in-house marketing library at short notice and probably unintentionally, as “Videocardz” first reported.
According to the entries, AMD will start the launch with four CPUs, which the manufacturer would do in the same way as the Ryzen 5000 chips. There will be a Ryzen 9 7950X with 16C/32T, a Ryzen 9 7900X with 12C/24T, a Ryzen 7 7700X with 8C/16T and a Ryzen 5 7600X with 6C/12T. Apart from the names, however, no further information can be found in the marketing library. at Twitter On the other hand, a court circulated further details: Accordingly, the two Ryzen 9 should compete with 170 watts TPD, which would mean a PPT (Package Power Target) and thus a real power consumption of up to 230. For the Ryzen 7 7700X, on the other hand, it could be 65/88 watts and for the Ryzen 5 7600X it could be slightly lower 65/76 watts. However, this is only speculation. AMD itself had shown a 16C/32C pre-model with up to 5.5 GHz in May, as “Swiss IT Magazine” reported. (rf)
