Ryan Gosling may be the best Ryan in Hollywood (sorry, Reynolds). He started his career as a kid (we all know the viral video of him dancing in harem pants). But over time he blossomed into a serious actor who has worked with some of the greatest directors of all time (from Nicholas Winding Refn’s ‘Drive’ to Denis Villeneuve’s ‘Blade Runner 2049’).

The roles Ryan Gosling typically chooses aren’t superheroes or action figures, but they are physically and psychologically demanding. And in order to show them authentically, he has to be in good shape and train hard.

A few years ago it was revealed that the actor – now starring as Ken in the new ‘Barbie’ movie starring Margot Robbie – is a fan of martial arts – especially Muay Thai. By incorporating these into his workout routine, he got in better shape than ever, along with an enviable six-pack that he maintains to this day.
