Manchester United fell into the trap of a draw during the friendly match against its Spanish counterpart, Rayo Vallecano, 1-1, as part of the two teams’ preparations for the next season.
Alvaro Garcia scored the first goal for Rayo Vallecano in the 57th minute, before substitute Amad Diallo equalized for Manchester United in the 48th minute.
Ronaldo left at the beginning of the second half and was replaced by Amad Traore, who scored the only goal for Manchester United in the match.
This is the first participation of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo during the preparatory matches for his team, in preparation for the start of the new season.
Ronaldo missed 5 friendly matches for Manchester United, all of them in July, before joining the team’s camp in England, before facing Rayo Vallecano.
Earlier, Manchester United beat its Australian counterpart Melbourne Victory 4-1, followed by a 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace.
Manchester United drew in their third match against Aston Villa with a score of 2-2, and in the fourth match they lost to Atletico Madrid with a score of 0.
