Under contract with Al Nassr until 2025, Cristiano Ronaldo could welcome a former Real Madrid teammate to his Saudi club. The arrival of Luka Modric would be in the pipes!
Far from the very high European level and in particular from a Premier League far too complicated for him at his advanced age (38 years old), Cristiano Ronaldo is having a blast in Saudi Arabia. He has already scored 8 goals in 6 Saudi Pro League matches with Al Nassr, his new club since the start of the year (and until 2025).
“CR7” intends to pile up the goals in the Gulf and why not win the Asian Champions League. He may not do it next year with Rudi Garcia as coach or Alvaro Gonzalez and Luiz Gustavo as teammates. The Riyadh club is determined to strengthen itself with great football glories. And preferably with former teammates of Ronaldo!
Modric at Real, it feels like the end!
So, Luke Modric could be Al Nassr’s XXL recruit this summer. As indicated Foot Market mardithe emblematic Croatian midfielder, 37, could end the Real Madrid at the end of the season and his destination could well be Al Nassr. The player’s entourage has good relations with the sports director of the Saudi club, Goran Vucevic, who is a compatriot.
The 2018 Ballon d’Or is still as breathtaking in the colors of Casa Blanca, in La Liga as in the Champions League, but, at 38 next September, he could turn the page in Madrid and leave the top European level at the like Ronaldo. Together, the two players won a La Liga and especially 4 Champions League with the Merengues.
