A fast food restaurant at the Gulden Winckelplantsoen in Bos en Lommer was robbed last night. According to a police spokesman, one suspect threatened staff at the restaurant with a knife and took off with an amount of money. The police are still looking for the perpetrator.

The man behaved impatiently, walked back and forth through the store and then went to the counter. An employee saw that the man was holding a knife and wanted to climb over the counter. The employee called for help from a colleague and ran into the office. The colleague came out of the office and saw that the robber was now behind the counter. The man then threatened the employee with the knife.

Police are looking for a light-skinned man, between the ages of 20 and 25. He would be about six feet with a narrow face. He was dressed darkly with a dark hood and was wearing a face mask.

Police say it is not yet known in which direction the assailant fled. Police are looking for witnesses who may have seen something around that time.

It is not the first time that the fast food restaurant in Bos en Lommer has been robbed.
