Review: OnePlus Nord 2T. Another Nord, now with Dimensity 1300

Introduction

Not so long ago we published an article about the two Nord models from OnePlus. Today, the brand has launched a third model: the OnePlus Nord 2T. This variant has the new MediaTek Dimensity 1300 on board and should make it difficult for the competition in the middle segment.

OnePlus’s recipe has always been to bring good value for money phones to the market. As a result, the brand has gained a large fan base, and it has a pretty active community. One of the other features of the devices of this brand is that Android is not grown too much. As a result, you can usually get away with it fairly quickly.

This new Nord 2T gets a suggested retail price of 399 or 499 euros, respectively for the 8/128GB and 12/256GB version. In addition to the 2T, the brand is putting another Nord variant on the market: the Nord 2 CE Lite, which has a price tag of 299 euros.

The new Nord 2T is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset and features 80W Supervooc, coming from OPPO – a brand that falls under the same house as OnePlus. With the fast charging, the brand has a solution for people who use their phone often. According to the promise of OnePlus, an empty battery should be filled in half an hour. During our measurement we came to 50 minutes, which is also an excellent score. Physical safety should be in order; the device has nine temperature sensors on board that monitor that the device does not overheat during charging.
