Retired teachers demand better medical service

Ciudad Juarez.- This morning a group of retired teachers demonstrated outside Pueblito Mexicano, demanding that the medical service provided by State Civil Pensions (PCE) be improved.

The teachers assured that the service they offer them is in decline, since they do not have medications, they do not perform laboratory tests and their medical appointments are constantly changed, delaying their attention.

Professor Fernando Álvarez reported that they seek to demand that the State Government provide them with a solution regarding the poor medical service they are receiving.

“Nearly 90 percent of the medicine they give us is generic or similar medicine and we also have testimonies that they are giving us “duck” medicine that does not have any chemical substance,” Mr. Álvarez pointed out.

Given this request, the protesters were attended by the governor’s representative, Óscar Ibáñez, to listen to their requests and seek solutions.
