Difficult times for Simone Mecky-Ballack (46). Michael Ballack’s ex-wife (45) not only had to cope with the death of her son Emilio († 18) last year. Now her marriage seems to be on the verge of ending.
According to a report in the “Bild” newspaper, her husband Andreas Mecky (48) has already moved out of her house on Lake Starnberg. According to those present, the IT entrepreneur complained in a Greek restaurant about the “serious crisis” of his marriage.
The reason for this is said to be Mecky-Ballack’s grief processing. Although her husband was there for her, according to friends, tensions quickly arose because she is said to have often taken her pain out on her husband. One of the allegations was that Mecky could not understand her pain because he was not Emilio’s father.
Emilio died in a quad bike accident
Emilio was the second of three sons from the marriage between Simone and Michael Ballack. He died in early August 2021 in a quad bike accident in Portugal, south of Lisbon, where he fell under the vehicle. Around two in the morning he wanted to take a young woman home from the Ballack villa. “He asked her to wait while he parked the vehicle. He then lost control of the vehicle and lost his life,” a family worker told the British newspaper Daily Mail. The quad jumped backwards, Emilio fell down a slope and was then buried by the 200 to 300 kg vehicle.
