Ginny and Austin on the run

The first season ended with Ginny and her little brother Austin (Diesel La Torraca) heading into the unknown. Since the 16-year-old has given no indication of where her journey will lead her, we can only speculate here. She probably won’t get very far on her rusty motorcycle. Maybe she goes to her father Zion (Nathan Mitchell, “The Boys”)? Since she was recently disappointed that he left her again, a pretty unlikely theory. She told her mother that she had sent Austin’s letters to his father. Will she meet the unknown man (played by Aaron Ashmore) in Georgia’s life?

What happens to the life Ginny leaves behind? Surely her mother would be looking for her and Austin. Her former girlfriends and her almost-boyfriend Marcus (Felix Mallard) will also wonder where Ginny is. So there is still much to be clarified.

Will Georgia’s past catch up with her?

In the end, everything seems to go perfectly for Georgia: Paul (Scott Porter) emerges victorious from the mayoral election and she was able to destroy all evidence of Monkship in Kenny’s body. But Gabriel (Alex Mallari Jr.) has already received a new tip and may not give up in a new season.

Aside from the worry of her past being exposed, Georgia’s present could also make for plenty of drama. Their children fled, which does not bode well for the mayor and his future wife. Then there’s Joe (Raymond Ablack). While he didn’t confess to Georgia that he was the boy who shared his meal with her over 15 years ago – which isn’t, but still may be. Two men wasn’t enough in Season 1 and certainly won’t be in another. So maybe Austin’s father comes into play as a third party. Nothing is known about him so far. Did he also abuse Georgia at the time? Why is she keeping her son away from him?
