Karim Adeyemi is currently on the slips of many European top clubs. Liverpool FC, for example, should dare to venture into the winter. A reserve player for the Reds could close the deal.
According to information from Sky Sport, RB Salzburg is calling for a transfer fee of almost 40 million euros for Adeyemi, who is also being courted by Bayern, Dortmund and FC Barcelona.
A proud sum for Liverpool this season, as the club recently invested a lot of money in order to extend long-term with regular players such as Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alisson Becker. In addition, there is contract poker with star striker Mo Salah, who is demanding a hefty salary increase.
Ironically, Divock Origi, currently only bench press on Anfield Road, should help his club in signing Adeyemi. According to the Express, Liverpool is considering offering the striker as a swap partner in order to lower the transfer fee a little. Origi’s market value is currently around 12 million euros, meaning that RB could reduce its claim by almost a third.
Salzburg has turned out to be a springboard for ambitious and talented attackers in recent years. In the summer, Patson Daka, who scored 54 goals in 82 league games for the Red Bulls, moved to Leicester City.
The most prominent departure in the recent past is probably Erling Haaland, who became one of the best center forwards in Europe after his transfer to Borussia Dortmund.
