“The quarantine restrictions in Uzbekistan, which are in effect until August 1, have been extended until August 15,” the headquarters said in a statement on the Telegram channel. The decision on the extension was made by the special commission to combat coronavirus.

According to the headquarters, bans on weddings and family celebrations remain, mask mode and social distance in public places remain. “Given the strong effect of the virus on the elderly and patients with diabetes, heart and other diseases, citizens over 65 years of age must strictly observe self-isolation,” the headquarters added. Other existing restrictions on transport, trade, services and recreation were also extended.
