Putin promised to increase pensions and social benefits

Putin announced a decision to increase social benefits and pensions in the near future. In the near future, a decision will be made to increase social benefits, pensions and the living wage. This was stated by the President of Russia Vladimir Putinhe is quoted TASS.

“I understand that rising prices are seriously affecting people’s incomes, so in the near future we will make a decision to increase all social payments, including benefits and pensions,” the head of state said during a meeting on measures of socio-economic support for the country’s regions.

According to Putin, even in such a difficult situation, by the end of the year, it will be necessary to achieve a reduction in the level of poverty and inequality. “These are quite feasible tasks even today. I ask the government and regions to concentrate on this task,” the president instructed.

The head of state stressed that this task is not only of an economic nature, but is also a matter of social justice.

During the meeting, Putin also instructed government members and officials from Federal Antimonopoly Service monitor the situation with prices on the market within the country.
