Pulisic continues to score for Chelsea in a victory against Palace

LONDON (AP) – Christian Pulisic scored his fifth goal in three Premier League matches against Chelsea, who beat Crystal Palace 2-0 in the Premier League on Saturday.

Palace's defense survived a Chelsea attack in the first half – the Blues registering 11 shots on zero for Palace at the break – but Tammy Abraham quickly unlocked the stalemate.

Abraham read the match to beat Palace's offside trap in the 52nd minute and conceded a goalless pass from Willian before scoring a low for his 10th league goal of the season.

Pulisic secured Chelsea's sixth consecutive win in the 79-league with a header when Michy Batshuayi's shot was deflected and curled into the air.

The American did not start in the Premier League from August to October 26, when he made the most of a hat trick against Burnley. He followed a week later with a goal against Watford.
