OnePlus unveiled the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G at the OnePlus R launch event. The Nord CE 2 Lite 5G is currently the cheapest smartphone in the company’s range in India. The device borrows some of the core features of the Nord CE 2 and packs everything into a more affordable package.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G comes in two storage options. The base model has 6GB of RAM along with 164GB of internal storage. It is priced at Rs 16,696. There is an 8GB RAM option that also offers 164GB of internal storage. This variant costs Rs 30,696. The Nord CE 2 Lite 5G comes in Blue Tide and Black Dusk colors. The phone will be available April 30 through Amazon India, OnePlus India’s website and retail partners.

The Nord CE 2 Lite 5G features a 6.30-inch IPS LCD with Full HD+ resolution and a 21:9 aspect ratio. It supports 75Hz refresh rate and supports sRGB, P3 color gamut. The screen features a hole punch cutout in the top left corner for the front camera. The Nord CE 2 Lite 5G comes with a 16MP front camera sensor.
On the back, the phone has a triple camera. It features a 30MP main camera sensor with an f/1.7 aperture. There is an 8 MP ultrawide camera along with a 2 MP macro camera sensor.
The phone packs a 5000 mAh battery and comes with support for 30W SuperVOOC charging instantly. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 696 SoC. The phone comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 164GB of internal storage.
The Nord CE 2 Lite 5G runs Android 12 based OxygenOS 12.1 out of the box. It weighs around 195 grams and measures 75.3 x 75.6 x 8.5mm.
