PowerColor Radeon RX 6500 XT kommt im Mini-ITX-Format

As part of the presentation of the cards based on the Radeon RX 6500 XT and GeForce RTX 3050, some users wondered why there was no Mini-ITX model here, because there would be a board power of 107/130 W and correspondingly compact coolers this is quite possible. twitterer @momomo_us has discovered exactly such a model at PowerColor.

The PowerColor Radeon RX 6500 XT ITX 4GB GDDR6 comes in dimensions of 165 x 125 x 40 mm – it is even 5 mm shorter than the Mini-ITX form factor envisages. A central axial fan takes care of the necessary fresh air. This even stops when idle and the card is silent in this state. An 8-pin connector supplies the card with the necessary voltage.

The other technical data correspond to each Radeon RX 6500 XT. The Navi 24 GPU offers 1,024 shader units supported by 16MB of Infinity Cache. A 64-bit memory interface connects the 4 GB to GDDR6. The memory bandwidth is 128 GB/s. The connection to the system is established via a PCI Express 4.0 interface with four lanes.

AMD is targeting a price of $199. However, we already know that ASUS, for example, will be asking 299 euros for its cheap model.

A comparable model, the Radeon RX 6500 XT Challenger ITX 4GB from ASRock, is 179 mm long. We are not yet aware of such compact cards from the GeForce RTX 3050.
