Innsbruck After the second division game between Wacker Innsbruck and GAK on Friday evening in the Tyrolean capital, riots broke out outside the stadium. When around 50 Wacker supporters wanted to get on the bus and Graz fans got on the bus, they were prevented from doing so by the police and security service. The forces were brutally attacked with kicks and punches. Three police officers suffered minor injuries. They were treated in the clinic. The investigations to find the perpetrators were underway. Advertisements will follow, the executive said.
Some of the Wacker supporters were masked and, after the end of the game, ran towards the access area to the guest fan bus, which was separated by bars. The attack had apparently been arranged, it said. The game had ended 1:1.
