Pole vault: Armand Duplantis improves his world record by one centimeter and jumps to 6m22

The Swede broke his own world record on his third attempt at the All Star pole vault in Clermont-Ferrand.

Swede Armand Duplantis improved his world pole vault record dating from July 2022 by one centimeter by clearing a bar at 6.22 m, Saturday during the All Star Perche meeting in Clermont-Ferrand.

The 2021 Olympic champion and 2022 world champion has held the world record since February 8, 2020 when he cleared 6.17m in Torun (Poland) and erased Frenchman Renaud Lavillenie (6.16m), organizer of this meeting.
