Oldenburg (ots)

The Oldenburg police have been searching for the missing 8-year-old Joe since the early evening of June 17, 2022.

He was last seen around 5:30 p.m. in the area of the former Donnerschwee barracks.

Due to a mental disability and his young age, Joe urgently needs to be handed back to authorized care. Since the 8-year-old can easily misunderstand the search for him as a game, the search is supported by a rescue dog squadron and loudspeaker announcements.

Joe is about 150 cm tall and has a slim build. He has shoulder length dark curly hair. He wears a black vest, also with white writing, over a blue T-shirt with white writing. He is also wearing dark trousers and is probably barefoot. No specific whereabouts are known.

The Oldenburg police are asking witnesses who can give information about the missing 8-year-old Joe or his whereabouts to report to the use and patrol service I on 0441-790-4115 or the police emergency call 110. (-767932)
