The American pharmaceutical company Pfizer Inc has announced that it is cutting off its sales force in the United States. It is reported by Reuters.

The company is expected to post more than $ 80 billion in revenues in 2021 – thanks largely to sales of the COVID-19 vaccine it has developed in partnership with Germany’s BioNTech. According to Pfizer CEO Albert Burl, this will be a record sales for a pharmaceutical company.

Formerly CEO of Pfizer toldthat the vaccine against the COVID-19 strain “omicron” will be prepared by the spring.

In turn, Moderna also named the approximate timing of the appearance of a special booster dose from a new variant of the coronavirus. Previously, the booster will be prepared by the fall of this year.
