Pepe Aguilar and his children Leonardo and Angela Aguilar apparently they did manage to fill the Monumental Plaza de Toros in Mexico City after it was rumored in previous weeks that they had sold few tickets for their concert ‘Jaripeo sin fronteras’ due to their recent controversies.
Daniel Bisogno, television presenter of the program windowing of TV Azteca, assured in days prior to the Aguilar concert that they had sold less than 15 percent tickets, they were worried about finding a solution to fill the Plaza de Toros and considered giving courtesies.
“What they were telling me, reliable sources, is how ticket sales are going and the truth is that it is not going so well. It’s very little, a little more than 10 percent”, commented the communicator.
It was also rumored on social networks that ticket sales were not as expected because apparently the popularity of the Aguilar family had fallen after Angela said she was 25 percent Argentine or that she was offended that people think she could dabble in reggaeton.
Pepe Aguilar assured in an interview with Bisogno himself in windowing what “cool” tickets are running outI swear to God” and that the public in Mexico City “has always responded.”
The Aguilars did fill the Plaza de Toros and dedicated whistle
Hours before his concert in the Plaza de Toros México, the interpreter of ‘Por mujeres como tú’ and ‘Por una mujer bonita’ shared on his Instagram account that his concert ‘Jaripeo sin fronteras’ was sold outso there was not a single ticket left for sale.
The Monumental Plaza shared an aerial photograph to confirm the fullness during the concert. The enclosure has capacity for 42 thousand seated people. Ticket prices ranged from 308 pesos to 2,800 pesos.
“Unforgettable night!!! Infinite thanks. How cool, CDMX. Great, great, great experience and energy lived last night in this show!!! Playing in Mexico City has always been a very good challenge and tremendous commitment. But last night was very special. Playing in a place so full of history and so full, the only thing I can say is Thank you”, Pepe Aguilar published the following day.
The singer, songwriter, producer and businessman also sent “a whistling reminder for all you haters out there” that they criticized him and his family and that they assured that they would not fill the Plaza de Toros.
“We are going to break the Guinness record for the Mexican whistle, since FIFA does not sanction us here, that beautiful reminder that we have in Mexico for you know who. That whistle goes to all haters,” said the singer.
