People in Shanghai jailed for six weeks – China

Early May – that’s what many Shanghainese had hoped for. Until then, the government would relax strict curfews and daily PCR tests. After all, everything has to end sometime. The opposite is the case. The government of the 26 million metropolis has now tightened the restrictions again: within the next “two to five days” no more food can be ordered from delivery services, and people have to rely on the food deliveries from the city administration. In addition, the curfews have been tightened again: in the coming days, the house may only be left for PCR testing.
