Parvez Elahi’s interim bail is denied by anti-corruption court, fear of arrest

The anti-corruption court rejected the interim bail of former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi in the case of alleged corruption in development projects.
Web Desk: A hearing was held on the interim bail application of Chaudhry Parvez Elahi in the case of alleged corruption in development projects.
Pervez Elahi’s lawyer told the court that the former chief minister is suffering from chest pain and cannot appear in court. The prosecution argued that Pervez Elahi’s medical is fake.
During the hearing, the learned judge remarked, “Show me the reports and I will decide now.”
The anti-corruption court in Lahore adjourned the hearing for some time by directing the medical reports to be submitted to the court immediately, while later, giving the verdict, it dismissed Parvez Elahi’s interim bail.
