Ovechkin named first NHL star of the day, Panarin third star

Alexander Ovechkin, captain of Washington Capitals, is recognized as the first star of the day in the NHL.

The Russian scored two goals and made two assists in the victory over Vancouver (6:4).

Boston Jake DeBrusk was named the second star with a double and one assist in a 5-3 loss to Florida.

The third star of the day is Rangers forward Artemy Panarin. He became the author of one puck and three assists in the game with Anaheim (6:4).
