After the Condor order on Monday (July 25), Airbus presents the next post-Farnborough order. International Airlines Group IAG has ordered 37 A320 Neo Family aircraft. On the one hand, it is converting twelve options from 2013 into firm orders for the A320 Neo and A321 Neo, although the allocation has not yet been determined.

In addition, the British Airways and Iberia parent company has ordered 25 new jets from the A320 Neo family and has also secured options for 50 more of the aircraft. The jets that have now been firmly ordered will be delivered between 2025 and 2028 and will replace aircraft from the A320 Ceo family. The group does not reveal which airlines will be involved.

No decision on engines yet

IAG intends to make the engine decision for the aircraft later. The options now agreed exist for delivery slots between 2028 and 2030.
