In the midst of the benefits that, according to the president, the application entails, on his Twitter he acknowledged that due to the technical problems that it has had, there are those who have not yet been able to use it.
Days after Bitcoin started as legal tender in El Salvador and several Salvadorans who have tried to make use of the Chivo Wallet have expressed their annoyance over the failures it has presented, President Nayib Bukele admitted on Monday night the errors that the implementation of the state application has had and recognized that it was “too high a challenge (launch everything in three months)”, as has been pointed out by computer experts who have questioned the launch described as improvised.
Although through a series of tweets the president mentioned the benefits that, according to him, the app brings, he also referred to the technical problems that it has had and said that they are working to correct the situation.
“The technical errors of @chivowallet are 95% corrected. In the next few days it will be working at 100% ”, reads point number one of 12 that he listed on the social network to talk about the application and the use of the cryptoactive.
He clarified that, for now, “the new registrations are not enabled, nor the download of the app for new phone models”, but promised that “both things will be enabled until the application has no errors (it will be a couple of days more) ”.

“Those who have had problems with balance transfers to bank accounts or payments will be contacted by our technical team once the banking interconnection is resolved. This will take a day or two, but all balances are registered and guaranteed, ”said Bukele.
He also referred to people who have not been successful with their registration in the app.
