On Friday 14 January there will be a local transport strike

Discomfort on arrival for public transport users Friday 14 January: the transport unions of Cgil, Cisl and Uil, Ugl and Cisal have called a four-hour strike in support of the dispute for the renewal of the national contract and it is likely that in the cities it will be difficult to move even if of course the warranty bands will be respected locally.

Brescia Mobility informs that the service will undergo changes from 17.30 to 21.40, both in Brescia (bus and underground) and in Desenzano del Garda. There may also be temporary inconvenience half an hour before and half an hour after the strike. Furthermore, on the occasion of the strike, the trade union representatives organized a static garrison from 12 to 13 in Piazza Paolo VI, in the square in front of the Prefecture of Brescia.


From 9 to 13, on the other hand, the service of Trenord, due to a strike by Ferrovienord personnel. In particular, as regards our province, the Brescia-Iseo-Edolo line.

The inconveniences, however, could also involve the other lines that circulate on the Ferrovienord network, i.e. the regional and suburban connections that reach Milan Cadorna – to and from Canzo / Asso, Novara Nord, Como Lago, Laveno, Varese, Malpensa Airport – the line and the cross-border service S50 Malpensa Airport-Bellinzona. The agitation may also have repercussions on the service of the lines that transit both on the Ferrovienord network and on the Rfi network, i.e. the lines S1 Milan Bovisa-Lodi, S4 Camnago-Milan Cadorna, S9 Saronno-Seregno-Albairate, S13 Milan Bovisa-Pavia.
