Paris Saint-Germain announced the signing of goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma on a free transfer.
Donnarumma left AC Milan, after his contract with the Rossoneri expired at the end of last season.
Donnarumma joined the Paris team a few days after winning the European Nations Cup “Euro 2020” with the Italian national team.
Donnarumma signed a 5-year contract with the French capital team, ending on June 30, 2026.
“I am very happy to be part of this wonderful club,” Donnarumma said in statements to the official website of Paris Saint-Germain after signing the contracts.
Donnarumma concluded: “I am ready to take on this new experience and to continue to grow here, I want to win and bring joy to the fans.”
It is worth noting that Paris Saint-Germain previously announced the signing of Giorgeno Wijnaldum from Liverpool, Sergio Ramos from Real Madrid and Ashraf Hakimi from Inter Milan, in addition to renewing the contract of Neymar da Silva.
