NEW YORK – Governor Kathy Hochul announced Thursday that New York State’s annual holiday for needy families began on December 1st and runs through December 16th. “This holiday season, I encourage all New Yorkers to come together to support families and children in need across the state,” said Governor Hochul. “New York’s annual Toy and Coat Drive is a wonderful opportunity to bring much-needed joy and hope to our communities, and anyone with the means to do so can spread some holiday cheer by making a donation.”
