At mid-career, Kia’s star SUV will be officially presented in its new version this Thursday, November 25 at the Seoul Motor Show.

Like the Hyundai Kona before it, the Kia Niro is about to go through the restyling box. Already seen several times in Europe, the new version of the Korean SUV will be made official on November 25 at the Seoul Motor Show.

For the moment limited to a few teasers, the new Niro should be inspired by the Habaniro concept, presented in 2019 at the New York Auto Show. On the program: a style much more assertive than the current version and an interior presentation probably close to that of the new Kia EV6.

What characteristics for the new electric Niro?

The new Niro should inherit the same technological palette as the current version. In addition to the classic thermal versions, the electric and the hybrid will also be on the program.

For the moment, Kia does not say if the electric version will be brought to evolve. Looking at what has been done by Hyundai with the new electric Kona, we imagine that it will not be the case. The new Kia e-Niro should therefore resume the same characteristics as the current version. Available in two engines and two batteries, it offers a range of over 450 kilometers in the WLTP cycle.

In Europe, the marketing of the new Kia Niro is expected for 2022. See you this Thursday, November 25 to find out more …
