New cases of corona discovered, the central government warned the states UrduDuniya | Urdu world

New Delhi, March 12: (Urdudunyanews.com/agencies) In India, 524 new cases of corona infection have been reported in 24 hours after 113 days. After this, the center has alerted all the states. After the new cases, the number of patients under treatment in the country has increased to 3618. Meanwhile, one person died of corona infection in Kerala. One person dies of Corona in Kerala As of 8 am on Sunday (March 12, 2023), the death toll in Kerala has risen to 5,30,781 after one patient died of the infection, according to the Union Health Ministry. According to the Health Ministry data, the total number of infection cases has reached 4.46 crore (4,46,90,492). The national recovery rate from COVID-19 was recorded at 98.80 percent. The number of people who have recovered from the disease has increased to 4,41,56,093 while the death rate has been recorded at 1.19%.

According to the ministry’s website, 220.64 crore doses have been administered so far under the nationwide anti-Covid-19 vaccination campaign. The Center asked the states that it needs to be considered urgently. The Center has requested all states and Union Territories to follow guidelines for cases of influenza-like illness or severe acute respiratory infections. The directive to states also requests states to review hospital preparedness such as availability of medicines and medical oxygen, vaccination against COVID-19 and influenza. In a letter to states and Union Territories, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that the number of corona cases has come down significantly in the last few months, but there has been a gradual increase in some states. An alarming problem, which needs to be addressed immediately. Bhushan said vigilance is needed despite the low number of new cases, reduction in hospitalizations and progress in Covid-19 vaccination.
