Mother of man who sodomized Ukrainian employee exchanged 20 calls with sister-in-law on day of murder – Portugal

The mother of Danny Eusébio – the man on trial in Matosinhos for sodomizing and murdering a Ukrainian official – exchanged more than 20 calls with a sister-in-law on the day of the crime. The woman, who is also charged with desecrating a corpse, was informed by her son that Oleg Bergovenko was dead.
It was at the same time that he exchanged several calls with the family member.

Maria Eusébio’s sister-in-law, heard in court on Wednesday, said that she never spoke to her and that the call log is fake. The testimony was then interrupted, as the witness did not have to speak due to the family connection.

Oleg died on 10 June last year in Póvoa de Varzim. The indictment says the man was addicted.
