A twenty-one year old Egyptian was arrested for a gang rape committed in Milan last September against a minor, in a disused sports facility in the Bonola area. The boy was tracked down in Rimini last Monday and is now in the prison of the Romagna town. The search is underway for another member of the pack, 22 years old, who in recent months has been the recipient of an expulsion order issued by the Milan police commissioner. Together with the two, two other boys participated in the attack, who at the time of the events were under 18 and for this reason they were reported to the juvenile prosecutor’s office. The investigations began when the victim confided in an educator who was following her, telling her of the violence she had suffered. The woman thus reported the episode to the “Protection of the family, minors and other vulnerable subjects” department of the Milan prosecutor’s office. Over the last few months, to trace the alleged perpetrators, the agents of the mobile squad have relied on the victim’s story, which provided precise descriptions of the perpetrators, and on some telephone interceptions. It emerged that the boys used to sleep in the structure and that the victim had known them for a few days.
